Personal Bio
Our founder, Marisol Cruz Aguirre, is a bilingual female lawyer and a member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia. She founded the firm to provide cost-effective legal solutions for clients seeking to resolve legal issues or engage in the art of strategic planning. Marisol is passionate about international legal matters and has built her legal career in Mexico City and Canada. She has a wealth of legal expertise in Canadian immigration law, corporate commercial, and wills and estates, and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Education and Experience
Marisol holds a Master's in Law in Common Law of Canada; an undergraduate degree in Mexican law; a Certificate in International Business; and a Counselling Diploma. With three years of experience practicing as a Lawyer in Mexico and two years in Canada, Marisol’s career started at a prominent firm in Mexico City, where she worked with multinational clients. Marisol has also worked for a small Law Firm in Vancouver, Canada where she learned how to work with individual clients and met wonderful colleagues.
Despite her impressive resume, Marisol has no pretension and brings her experience and skills to the table with a genuine desire to help others. Currently, Marisol caters to individuals and small businesses in British Columbia. Her diverse clientele includes members of the consular corps, families with international estates, and global citizens whose needs often get overlooked by larger firms.
